Dr. Salvatore A. Parascandola Dr. Parascandola received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and served as a Resident and Chief Resident at the Milton Hershey Medical Center. He was awarded a research fellowship with the Department of Artificial Organs with the Hershey Medical Center and is currently on the medical staff of Holy Spirit and Harrisburg Hospitals. Dr. Parascandola has many areas of specialty contributing to the Kunkel Surgical Group’s vast pool of expertise. He has a special interest in endocrine surgery involving the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas and adrenal glands He is one of the first physicians in the area to complete a program in minimally invasive parathyroid surgery. |
